After moving from the Royal Lodge, Sarah Ferguson is reportedly “sofa-surfing” right now. Her ex-husband, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, moved to the Sandringham Estate after leaving the royal mansion. However, the current whereabouts of his ex-wife remain unknown. Amid this, recent reports suggest that, for a long time, she took shelter in a popular Swiss clinic, where sources say that she “feels at home.”

Sarah Ferguson and her ex-husband, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, were asked to leave the Royal Lodge last year after the various controversies surrounding them. While Andrew moved to the Sandringham Estate, Ferguson’s residence remains unknown. As per Daily Mail reports, for a long time, she stayed at Paracelsus Recovery Clinic in Zurich, Switzerland. A source alleged that she felt at home there, knowing she would receive “love and attention” there.

Amid this, recent reports suggest that the former Duchess told her friends in the United Arab Emirates about her current residence, saying she needs to “get back to work” for financial stability. Ferguson has apparently been staying at a popular Swiss clinic.

She has even been promoting it on her social media handles. In her posts, she talked about how it is important to “break down the barriers of stigma and silence.” She also explained that “seeking help” is a sign of strength, not weakness. As per insiders, the former Duchess heavily relies on her daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, to help her stay discreet. She is reportedly traveling with her daughters and keeping a low profile.

A source said, “Sarah is sofa-surfing on a global scale by moving around every few days and deliberately not telling people where she has been staying until she’s left the location. She is paranoid her location will be discovered so is moving frequently.” The source continued that Ferguson keeps updating her friends about her location. She wants to stay away from the media attention.
