Salma Hayek is embracing her role as a first-time grandmother.
On August 17, the 59-year-old actress shared a video with her grandson on Instagram and revealed his nickname.
“We are blessed to welcome the fourth living generation of Francois’,” she wrote.

On August 17, the 59-year-old actress shared a video with her grandson on Instagram and revealed his nickname in the caption. In the brief clip, she’s seen holding the baby while speaking to him in Spanish as he napped.
“We are blessed to welcome the fourth living generation of Francois’,” she wrote. “Although I will call him Panchito. He seems to love it, and I cannot love him more.”
According to Today, Hayek asked the baby in Spanish, “What are you dreaming about?” She also referred to him as “chiquitito hermoso” (beautiful little one). In the clip, she dressed casually in a long-sleeve purple top, which she accessorized with black glasses. The actress also wore her hair down in a center part.

Hayek’s stepson François Pinault Jr., 38, welcomed baby François with his wife, Lara Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck. Last week, Henckel von Donnersmarck shared images of their son on Instagram. She included several snapshots of sweet family moments with the baby, including a photo of Hayek holding him.

Henckel von Donnersmarck captioned her post, “my husband (the world’s coolest françois) and our son (the world’s cutest françois)… our first month as parents🐣.”

The Frida actress has been married to François-Henri Pinault, 64, since 2009, and the couple shares an 18-year-old daughter, Valentina Paloma Pinault. She’s also a stepmother to her husband’s other children: Mathilde, 25, and Augustin, 19.
Throughout the years, Hayek has been open about her life as a stepmother.

“I always wanted to have a lot of children, and I was not able to. My body, as a miracle, had one,” she told Red magazine in 2017. “The huge blessing I’ve had is that my husband has three other children. So I have four. And they are all so different.”
