Covey sisters, reunite!

Lana Condor is finally making her return to the universe of *To All the Boys I've Loved Before* and reprising her role as Lara Jean Covey for the most important reason — her onscreen little sister's love life! Netflix announced on Friday that Condor is officially set to appear in the upcoming third season of her rom-com trilogy's spinoff series *XO, Kitty*, reuniting with her onscreen sister Kitty Song-Covey (Anna Cathcart).

"It's such a joy to be able to come back and see Anna," Condor told Netflix's Tudum of her return to the franchise. "I think she did an amazing job creating the *XO, Kitty* world. It's such a dream to be able to work with her again. I feel really excited and happy and honored I get to be back."

Lara Jean will join the series picking up as Kitty returns for her senior year at KISS. Season 2 concluded with Kitty set on telling Min Ho (Sang Heon Lee) how she feels about him — but he declares a break from relationships, saying that he'll join his father and his K-pop superstar brother on their summer tour.

Perhaps the timing isn't right after all, Kitty concludes in her inner monologue. But as Min Ho prepares to get into his car to leave, Kitty yells out, "Wait! Can I join you?"

Fans will have to wait for the upcoming season to answer their understandably endless amount of questions; but what we do know is that season 3 opens with the youngest Covey sister having the perfect year mapped out: she’s going to make meaningful memories with her friends, grow closer to her relatives in Korea, and make big decisions about her future. And, maybe most importantly, she’s going to define her relationship with Min Ho. (For real this time.)

But, as these things always go, when surprise revelations throw her plans — and relationships — off course, Kitty will have to learn to embrace the unexpected. With Condor slated to appear in multiple episodes, chances are that Kitty will probably be *really *needing her big sister's help.

Condor's upcoming return is her first reprisal of her character since the 2021 premiere of the third and final film, *To All the Boys: Always and Forever*. She follows the appearance of several other *To All the Boys* stars on the series, including John Corbett and Sarayu Blue as the Covey girls' dad and stepmother in season 1, Janel Parrish as oldest Covey sister Margot and Noah Centineo as Lara Jean's devoted boyfriend, Peter Kavinsky in season 2.

The upcoming season will also feature the return of the show's core cast members, including Minyeong Choi as Dae, Gia Kim as Yuri, Anthony Keyvan as Q, Regan Aliyah as Juliana, Sule Thelwell as Marius, Hojo Shin as Jiwon, with Peter Thurnwald as Alex, Joshua Lee as Jin, Sasha Bhasin as Praveena, Michael K. Lee as Professor Lee, Philippe Lee as Mr. Moon, Jocelyn Shelfo as Madison, Han Bi Ryu as Eunice, Sunny Oh as Mihee, Soy Kim as Yisoo, and Christine Heesun Hwang as Gigi.
