Kerry Washington has received a lot of recognition for her role as Olivia Pope — but not from her children.

The *Scandal** *star revealed that her tenure on a long-running hit show does not impress her kids. In fact, her youngest daughter was taken aback by the amount of Olivia Pope* *fans in attendance when the two of them went to Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour.

"We were walking through the crowd," Washington recalled on a recent episode of *Call Her Daddy*. "People were like, 'Olivia!' And she was like, 'Who is Olivia?' She was like, 'What? Who do they think you are? Like, that is not your name.'"

Washington is a mother of three, sharing a 9-year-old son Caleb, 11-year-old daughter Isabelle, and a stepdaughter whose privacy she maintains, with her husband Nnamdi Asomugha. The *Little Fires Everywhere *actress said that Isabelle thought the attention her mom received was "weird." However, Washington's daughter changed her tune when she realized her mom's fame might get her a picture with Justin Bieber.

"I think that was like the one moment where she was like, 'My mom might be slightly cool,'" Washington joked.

Cool or not, Washington is simply happy that the concert introduced her daughter to Beyoncé's music. Now, she said her tween's favorite album is *Cowboy Carter*.

While Washington's kids might find her cringe, *Scandal* fans have an enduring love for the actress and her character Olivia Pope, everyone's favorite problematic political fixer and crisis communications expert. The show ran for seven seasons from 2012 to 2018; eight years after the finale, fans are still hungry for the relationship between Olivia and her forbidden lover President Fitz (a pairing affectionately dubbed Olitz).

In the *Call Her Daddy* episode, Washington also revealed the steamiest moments between her and Fitz, who is played by Tony Goldwyn in the show. The two costars reminisced on their best scenes in a brief call during the podcast.

Washington said the hottest moment between Olitz happened in season 3's "Vermont is for Lovers, Too," directed by Ava DuVernay. In the episode, the couple spend a weekend in a house in Vermont, away from the political circus in Washington, D.C. and imagine a life together.

"I just think that house was so beautiful," Washington said. "The helicopter landing on the lawn, I think that whole moment was just so beyond dreamy."
