Ciara Miller shared her "treat yourself" mentality she's taking into 'Dancing with the Stars' this fall

The reality TV star shared her favorite Sonic treats, from French toast sticks to chili cheese dogs

Ariana Madix has been a supportive mentor to Miller as they collaborated on a Sonic campaign together

Ciara Miller has plans for her Dancing with the Stars debut this fall.

The Summer House star and recently cast Dancing with the Stars member said she's excited to live in Los Angeles and be able to drive around in a car, since she usually walks everywhere while living in New York City.

“It'll be nice to have my own schedule, have like a very solid schedule, be able to go where I need to go,” she said. “I'm looking forward to having that dance schedule, I feel like I used to have that when I was growing up.”

She also has some pre- and post-practice stops planned already.

“I'm just like picturing myself like stopping at Sonic in the mornings,” she said. “Going to rehearsal [and] stopping at Sonic on the way back and giving myself a little treat because I know that my whole mentality will probably be, I'm going to treat myself every minute I get.”

Miller said she is going to prepare for the show by going to “more yoga classes, more Pilates classes.”

“I might start running again because I need to get my stamina up and have some type of endurance,” she said. “I'm gonna get in the gym.”

Miller shared that she “grew up going to Sonic.”

“I feel like me, my mom on Friday nights, like our treat would be to go to the Sonic drive-in,” she shared. “Whether we were getting ice cream or milkshakes.”

“I also am very much a big fan of their chili cheese dogs and definitely the twelve-inch, like who doesn't love an extra long hot dog?” she said.

She also has a unique favorite that not everyone tends to know about, she said.

“I'm like, am I a freak that like I love French toast sticks?” she joked. “I don't even like French toast, but I love French toast sticks.”

“I will eat that in the morning, at night, at lunch,” she said. “That to me could be like a dessert, but [Sonic has] the best French toast sticks.”

She said working with Sonic, which was “the kid in me's dream,” while also working with Ariana Madix, felt like “kismet.”

“Like the perfect storm of everything, but no storm, sunshine,” she said.

Miller said that she was grateful to have Madix's support as a fellow reality TV star.

Miller has made headlines recently as her ex-boyfriend West Wilson and co-star revealed his secret relationship with their co-star and friend Amanda Batula.

Madix told PEOPLE that she reached out to Miller following the scandal.

“I definitely wanted, especially like early on, to kind of check in and just be like, I love you, and you're amazing,” she said of Miller.

“I think she's so poised to take over the world,” she added. “I think she's at such a good point in her career, and she's such a beautiful and amazing woman.”

Miller appreciated the support.

“It's so nice because I feel like when you're in the reality TV space and, you know, as you're either growing or branching out, to have the support from people who have done it before you is so nice,” she said. “Ariana is so great. She gives the best advice, but she's also like, ‘you know what you're doing,' so just like instilling that confidence in me.”

“She's a great role model,” she added.

The two partnered for a Sonic video sharing how they're above the drama.

“So… anything new to talk about?” Madix asks Miller in the video.

“Nothing, no new updates from me,” Miller says, stirring her drink. “Nothing? Nada? Really” Madix asks. “No, honestly, life has been pretty chill,” Miller replies.

“That's actually so refreshing to hear because I feel like I kind of thought that, you know, like, things were like, you know,” Miller says, gesturing with her hands.

“No, no, I've been off social media, I've been honestly just drinking my new frozen Sonic Refresher,” Miller says.

“I love that energy,” Madix says. “Same,” Miller replies.

“Let's sip to that,” Madix says. “Sip to that,” Miller says, winking at the camera.

While Madix said her refresher flavor is Strawberry-Passionfruit, Miller said she is more of a Mango-Peach girl.

“I feel like mango season is my favorite,” she said, adding “obviously I'm from Georgia, Georgia peach.”
