“Below Deck Mediterranean” Star Nathan Gallagher Arrested in Australia on Domestic Violence Charges

Nathan Gallagher was arrested in Australia in December and charged with three domestic violence offenses, according to police

Police allege Gallagher assaulted a 29-year-old woman he knew; no serious injuries were reported

The Below Deck Mediterranean star was granted conditional bail and is scheduled to appear in court again in September

Below Deck Mediterranean star Nathan Gallagher was arrested in Australia two days after Christmas, following a report of an alleged assault.

Officers with the Ryde Police Area Command arrested Gallagher, 27, at a unit complex on Appleforth Street in Melrose Park at about 8:45 a.m. on Dec. 27, 2025, according to a statement New South Wales Police provided to PEOPLE.

Police said Gallagher is accused of assaulting a 29-year-old woman he knew at the same location the day before, on Dec. 26. The woman did not suffer any serious injuries, according to police.

After his arrest, Gallagher was taken to Gladesville Police Station and charged with three offenses related to domestic violence: assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentionally choking a person without consent and common assault, according to authorities.

Gallagher was initially refused bail before appearing in Bail Division Court 7 on Dec. 28, where he was granted conditional bail. He was ordered to appear at Burwood Local Court on Jan. 15, 2026, according to police.

His next court appearance at the same court is scheduled for Sept. 1.

Rolling Stone was the first to report Gallagher’s arrest.

The arrest comes months after Gallagher and fellow Below Deck Mediterranean alum Gael Cameron welcomed their first child together. The couple met while filming Season 9 of the Bravo series and began a relationship that continued after filming wrapped, though they briefly split before reconciling in September 2024.

In June 2025, Gallagher and Cameron welcomed their son, Kayden Cameron-Gallagher. The new parents each shared photos of themselves holding their newborn on Instagram Stories and thanked their supporters for the love they received.

Gallagher shared a photo with his son and wrote that it was “time to soak up every minute with this little guy.”
